| Hypersensitivity, Pregnancy, Geriatrics, Renal disorder, Hearing disorder, Myasthenia Gravis, Concurrent use of Diuretics, Neuromuscular blocking agents, Neurotoxic drugs & Nephrotoxic drugs. Gentamicin dose is to be administered on the basis of body weight and according to the renal functions.Patients on 8 hr. dialysis leads to 50% reduction in the serum gentamicin level.Therefore at the end of each session 1-1.7mg-kg to be administered. |
