Dosages:
  • LOCAL INFILTRATION:PERIPHERAL,CAUDAL,EPIDURAL NERVE BLOCK WHEN MUSCULAR RELAXATION IS NOT IMPORTANT:0.25% solution.

  • WHERE MUSCULAR RELAXATION IS REQUIRED:0.5% solution.

  • MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDER, POSTOPERATIVE PAIN RELIEF:Dose adjustment based on Individual, Rate of absorption & Vascularity of the Region.Bupivacaine 0.25% OR 5% solution.Upto 225mg with Adrenaline OR 175mg without Adrenaline.

  • EPIDURAL BLOCK:0.5% solution increased upto 3-4 ml.

  • SPINAL ANAESTHESIA:VAGINAL HYSTERECTOMY,LOWER EXTREMETIES,PERINEAL PROCEDURES:5 % Bupivacaine + Dextrose 80mg/ml 7.5-12mg of Bupivacaine
