Dosages:
  •  Oral: GASTRIC & DUODENAL ULCER: 20mg/day for 4-8 weeks. Max. upto 40mg/day.
  •  NSAID INDUCED ULCERS: 20mg OD for 4 weeks.
  •  BENIGN GASTRIC ULCER WITH H.PYLORI: 40mg/day in 2 divided doses + 0.75-1g bid Amoxycillin for 2 weeks.
  •  GERD: 20mg/day for 4-8 weeks. Increased upto 40mg/day for 8 weeks. Maintenance Dose: 20mg/day.
  •  ZES: Initial dose 60mg OD. Usual range 20-120mg/day (Dose > 80mg given in 2 divided doses).
  •  Px. OF ACID ASPIRATION: 40mg on the preceding evening then 40mg 2-6 hours prior to start of surgery.
  •  ACID REFLUX DISEASE: 10mg OD, increased to 20mg/day.
  •  ACID RELATED DYSPEPSIA: 10-20mg/day for 2-4 weeks.
