Adverse Effect: Increased zopiclone absorption and a faster hypnotic effect Clinical Management: Monitor patients receiving combination therapy with erythromycin and zopiclone for a faster hypnotic response to zopiclone. While this may be clinically insignificant in young, healthy persons, elderly persons or persons receiving other central nervous system depressants may be more susceptible to the effects of this interaction |
