| Dosages: | | IV/IM/ORAL:Management of Premature Labour: Initial IV Ifsn. 0.05mg/min.,Increased by 0.05mg/min every 10-15 min. Maintenance for 12-48 hours.
IM: 10mg every 4-6 hours.
ORAL: Oral therapy is started 30-60 mins. before termination of IV Infsn. with 10mg every 2-6 hours. Max. up to 120mg daily.
ACUTE FOETAL DISTRESS:0.05mg/min by IV Ifsn. rapidly increasing until Uterine activity is suppressed or Maternal HR reaches 140/min. |
