Adverse Effect: Loss of oxazepam efficacy
Clinical Management: Closely monitor any patient receiving combined phenytoin and oxazepam therapy for clinical efficacy of both agents; serum phenytoin levels might also be considered when a Oxazepam is added or discontinued from therapy.
Molecule : Theophylline
Adverse Effect: decreased Oxazepam effectiveness
Clinical Management: Monitor the patient for Oxazepam clinical effectiveness. A larger than usual Oxazepam dose may be required in a theophylline-treated patient. |
