| Increases Ocular pressure in infants and children, To avoid inducing angle-closure glaucoma, estimate anterior chamber angle prior to instillation, To avoid excessive systemic absorption apply digital pressure to lacrimal sac for 2 to 3 inutes after instillation, Avoid bright light, driving, or hazardous activity while pupils are dilated, Avoid contact with oral mucosa; wash hands thoroughly after use. Excessive use, especially in children and the elderly, can result in confusion, agitation, and rarely, coma. |
