Contraindications:
Contraindicated in children with hypersensitivity to drug or its components and in those with vi-ral, fungal herpetic, or tubercular skin lesions. Inhalation aerosol and powder are contraindicated as the primary treatment in sta-tus asthmaticus or other acute episodes of asth-ma in which intensive measures are required. Use care when transferring children from systemically active corticosteroids to in-halation aerosol or powder because deaths have occurred in asthmatic children during and after transfer from systemic corticosteroids to less sys-temically available inhalation corticosteroids. During periods of stress or severe asthma attack, children who have been withdrawn from systemic corticosteroids should be instructed to resume oral corticosteroids in large doses immediately and to call for further medical assistance.
