Aminoglycosides, amphotericin B: In- creased nephrotoxicity. Monitor patient carefully.
Co-trimoxazole, phenobarbital, phenytom, ri-fampin: Increased hepatic metabolism; may low-er plasma levels of cyclosporine. Monitor cyclo-sporine levels.
Diltiazem, erythromycin, fluconazole, itracona-zole, ketoconazole, and verapamil, possibly corti-costeroids: Impaired hepatic enzyme metabolism and increased plasma cyclosporine levels; re-duced dosage of cyclosporine may be needed. Immunosuppressants (except forcorticosteroids): Dont use concomitantly.
Food, grapetruitjuice: Decreased cy-closporine levels. Dont take with food or grape-fruit juice. |
