Drug-drug
Antacids: Delayed and decreased absorption of acetaminophen. Monitor patient for drug effect.
Anticoagulants: thrombolytics: May potentiate effects of these drugs. Monitor patient and coagulation laboratory test results.
Anconvulsants, isoniazed: may increase risk of hepatotoxicity. Avoid concomitant use.
Phenothizines: May result in hypothermia. Monitor patients temperature.
Drug-food
Any food:
Delayed and decreased absorption of acetaminophen. Dont administer with food.
Caffeine: May enhance therapeutic effect of acetaminophen. This is an advantageous use. |
