Risk factors for major bleeding: Weight < 75 kg, Elderly patients > 65 yrs, H/o of previous GIT disease, Recent thrombolytic therapy;
Risk of heamorrhage: Unsuccessful PTCA, PTCA procedure greater than 70 minutes duration, and PTCA performed within 12 hours of symptom onset, Concomitant administration with thrombolytics, oral anticoagulants, NSAIDS, Dipyridamole, and Ticlopidine. |
