Cytotoxic drugs: Possible additive toxicity (bone marrow depression, stomatitis, alopecia). Monitorchild and CBC closely.
Immunosuppressants (corticoste-roids, cyclosporine): Enhanced immune and bone marrow suppressioo. Monitor child.
Probenecid: May decrease renal clearance of ganciclovir. Avoid concomitant use.
Zidovudine: Possible increased risk of neutropenia in children receiving zidovudine and ganciclovir. Monitor CBC. |
