Critical Care PEDIA contains the following scores: -

Apache III Score - Mortality rate for ARF in ICU patients continues to be high. The APACHE III score, determined at the time of initiation of dialysis for patients with ARF, is a statistically significant predictor of patient survival.

Apgar Score - A score is given for each sign at one minute and five minutes after the birth. If there are problems with the baby an additional score is given at 10 minutes. A score of 7-10 is considered normal, while 4-7 might require some resuscitative measures, and a baby with apgars of 3 and below requires immediate resuscitation.

Coronary Disease Probability - This tool calculates the Coronary Disease Probability in adult patients.

Glasgow Coma Scale - The Glasgow Coma Scale is the most widely used scoring system used in quantifying level of consciousness following traumatic brain injury. It is used primarily because it is simple, has a relatively high degree of inter observer reliability and because it correlates well with outcome following severe brain injury.

PRISM II - Pediatric Risk of Mortality score estimates risk of Mortality for pediatric patients.

Pneumothorax Degree of Collapse - Calculate pneumothorax degree of collapse from lung and hemithorax diameters.
