Interactions:
Aminoglycosides: Synergistic bacte-ricidal effects against S. aureus. Monitor child for this effect. Drugs are physically and chemically incompatible; inactivated when mixed or given to-gether. Dont mix together in same IN. solution.

Probenecid: Increased oxacillin serum levels. Probenecid may be used for this purpose.

Drug-food. Any food: Decreased absorption. Give drug on empty stomach.

Carbonated beverages, (fruit juice): Interfered with absorption. Dont give together.
