Interactions:
Anticholinergics: May cause para-lytic ileus. Monitor child.

Cimetidine, CNS depressants (antihistamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, general anes-thetics, MAO inhibitors, muscle relaxants, nar-cotic analgesics, phenothiazines, sedative hypnotics, tricyclic antidepressants): Potentiated respiratory and CNS depression, sedation, and hypotensive effects of drug. Use together with , extreme caution. Reduce morphine dose and monitor childs response.

General anesthetics: Possible severe CV depression. Use with extreme caution; monitor child closely

Narcotic antagonist: Children who become physically dependent on this drug may experience acute withdrawal syndrome if given a narcotic antagonist. Monitor child closely.
