Interactions:
Antidepressants, antihistamines, bar-biturates, narcotics, tranquilizers, other CNS and respiratory depressants: May add to or potenti-ate effects of these drugs. Avoid concomitant use if possible; adjust dose of midazolam if used to-gether.

Droperidol, tentanyl, narcotics: When used as preoperative drugs, polentiate hypnotic effect of midazolam. Avoid concomitant use.

Erythromycin: May decrease plasma clearance of midazolam. Use with caution.

Inhaled anesthetics: Midazolam may decrease needed dose of these drugs by depressing res-piratory drive. Monitor child closely.

Isoniazid; Decreased metabolism of midazolam. Use together with caution.
