| Hypersensitivity to Dalteparin or other low molecular mass heparins and/or heparins, history of confirmed or suspected immunologically mediated heparin induced thrombocytopenia, acute gastroduodenal ulcer and cerebral haemorrhage, severe coagulation disorders, septic endocarditis, injuries to and operations on the central nervous system, eyes and ears. In patients being treated with high doses of Dalteparin for acute deep venous thrombosis and unstable coronary artery disease, regional anaesthesia is contraindicated due to an increased risk of bleeding. |
