| Monitor renal and cardiac function in patients with SBP < 100mmHg when increasing dosage. Avoid abrupt withdrawal; gradual withdrawal over a period of 1 to 2 weeks is recommended. IHD, Unstable angina, Anaesthesia/surgery, Bronchospastic disease, Diabetes mellitus, Hyperthyroidism/Thyrotoxicosis, Peripheral vascular disease, Postural hypotension particularly in the elderly. |
