Dosages:
  • Oral: For kidney transplant rejection prophylaxis: 3-5 mg/kg daily once from the day of Transplantation or 1-3 days prior to it, Maintenance dosage is 1-2 mg/kg once daily, or 45 mg/m2

  • IV: 3-5 mg/kg prior to, during, or immediately after surgery, Maintenance dosage is 1-2 mg/kg.

  • Oral: For the treatment of severe rheumatoid arthritis: Initial Dose of 1.0 mg/kg (50-100 mg), given as a single dose or on a twice-daily schedule.

  • Oral: Chronic active hepatitis: 1-1.5mg/kg/day.

  • Oral: Other conditions: 2-2.5mg/kg/day.
