KoBoToolbox

KoBoToolbox is an open-source suite of tools that helps to Build survey form, Collect data on a mobile device or using Web forms and send it to a server and Aggregate the collected data on a server and extract it in useful formats. It allows the collection of data offline and submit the data, when internet connectivity is available.

KoBoToolbox consists of the following components

REDCap

REDCap is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases. While REDCap can be used to collect virtually any type of data (including 21 CFR Part 11, FISMA, and HIPAA-compliant environments), it is specifically geared to support online or offline data capture for research studies and operations.

REDCap consists of the following components

It also allows communities to aggregate data with full control over the collected data and the servers, where the aggregated data is stored.
