| If there is any question of occult opioid dependence, perform a Naloxone challenge test, which can be repeated in 24 hours and do not initiate Naltrexone therapy until the Naloxone challenge is negative. Patients should be warned of the risk of hepatic injury and advised to stop the use of Naltrexone and seek medical attention if they experience symptoms of acute hepatitis. |
