Dosages:
ORAL: DUODENAL & BENIGN GASTRIC ULCER: 40mg OD at bedtime OR 20mg bid for 4-8 weeks. Maintenance 20mg at bedtime. REFLUX OESOPHAGITIS: 20-40mg bid upto 6-12 weeks, Maintenance 20mg bid. In case of erosions, dose may be increased to 40mg bid for 12 weeks. ZES: Initial dose of 20mg every 6 hours as much as 160mg every 6 hours. HEART BURN, INDIGESTION, SOUR STOMACH: 10mg when symptoms occurs. 10mg, 1 hour before meals as preventive measure.

IV: PATHOLOGICAL HYPERSECRETORY CONDITIONS: Initial dose of 20mg by slow IV Inj. given over 2 minutes, followed by 20mg given by Inj. or Infusion over 30 minutes every 12 hours.

RENAL IMPAIRMENT:If the Creatinine clearance is < 10ml/min the dose is reduced to 20mg once at bedtime.
