| Precautions: | | May cause Cardiomyopathy, Secondary Acute Myelogenous Leukemia, Tumor-Lysis Syndrome & Pregnancy category D, Dose reductions required for Hepatic insufficiency or severe renal impairment. May cause severe Myelosuppression when used in combination with 5-Fluorouracil & Cyclophosphamide. Cumulative dose above 900 mg/m2 should be used with extreme caution. Extravasation may result in local pain. Severe tissue lesions and necrosis. Px. Antiemetics recommended in case of severe Nausea & Vomiting. May induce a recall reaction in patients who received previous Irradiation. |
