Hypertensive patients & hepatic impairment, avoid taking Tyramine-rich foods. Take before food to reduce likelihood of interaction. In patients with thyrotoxicosis or pheochromocytoma, conventional MAOI may precipitate a hypertensive reaction. In depressed patients with schizophrenic or schizo- affective disorder, psychotic symptoms may be exacerbated during treatment. Coadministration with Dextromethorphan should be avoided as it may result in vertigo, tremor, nausea, and vomiting. |
