Adverse Effect:: Decreased etidronate absorption Clinical Management: The administration of etidronate and antacids containing magnesium or aluminum should be separated by at least two hours.
Warfarin
Adverse Effect:: an increase in the prothrombin time Clinical Management: Prothrombin times should be monitored in patients receiving warfarin and etidronate. |
