Beta blockers: Antagonized cardiac effects of dopamine. Use cautiously and monitor child closely.
Diuretics: Increased diuretic effects of both drugs. Monitor child closely.
Ergot alkaloids: May cause extreme elevations in blood pressure. Monitor blood pressure closely.
General anesthetics (especially cyclopropane, halothane): Combined use may cause ventricu-lar arrhythmias and hypertension. Monitor child closely.
MAO inhibitors: May prolong and intensify effects of dopamine. Use cautiously; monitor child closely.
Phenytoin: May cause hypotension and brady-cardia. Monitor child closely. |
